How is the lifestyle in Salt Lake City, Utah, for students?

I'm thinking about going to college in Salt Lake City, UT, and I was aware that there are a number of Mormons living in the region. However, I was not aware of the effect this will have on me, my lifestyle to come, and my college experience. So … if someone wants to give an overview of the SLC and neighborhood, then that will be appreciated!

I'm going to University and the University of Utah and I love it. You should not let the Mormons have a big effect on you if you choose not to, especially in Salt Lake. Salt Lake City is a city for almost all students. There are College kids everywhere. There are plenty of trendy clubs and bars, but if thats not your style, there are many other activities. There is Recreational activities here more than almost everywhere: hiking, biking, skiing, snowboarding, etc. It's fun. Everyone is so nice and you'll like it.
