Black and Brown

Most intriguing part of my transition to the U.S. is becoming more self conscious of being black. Most forms I had to fill had that ethnicity/race box that reminded me I was in a whole new community. Cognitively, I have always known I was black African, but I had never had to actively consider or factor my skin tone into my experiences and outcomes. This collection celebrates the brown and black skin.
